The STIL Signature Ritual is the salon's most complete treatment: 90 minutes with a deep-cleansing scalp exfoliation, an individually tailored Oribe treatment, a bespoke scissor cut and personal styling. It's done at Stil i Lund on Klostergatan 1 in Lund.
Why a ritual?
A regular visit is about the cut. The ritual is about all of your hair, from scalp to ends. I put it together so I could do everything I would otherwise recommend in one unhurried visit.
Step 1: Consultation
As always, we start with a conversation. I look at your scalp and the condition of your hair, and we talk about what you'd like to achieve. From that I choose which Oribe products the treatment will be built on.
Step 2: Scalp exfoliation
A healthy scalp is the foundation of healthy hair. The exfoliation deep-cleans the scalp and removes styling product residue and dry skin.
Step 3: Oribe treatment
Next, the lengths get a treatment I choose for your hair. It can focus on repair, moisture or strength.
Step 4: Scissor cut
The cut is done with scissors and shaped to your hair and face shape, just as in a regular visit.
Step 5: Styling
I finish by blow-drying and styling your hair, and show you which products I use and how. If you'd like to carry on at home, we put together a routine for you to take with you.
Why the scalp?
We put a lot of care into the lengths and often forget where hair comes from. The scalp is skin, and just like the skin on your face, it benefits from a proper cleanse now and then.
Styling products, dry shampoo and everyday life leave residue that shampoo doesn't always remove. An exfoliation dissolves it and gives the scalp a fresh start. Afterwards your hair feels lighter at the roots.
Before your visit
You don't need to prepare anything. Come as you are – don't wash your hair on the day, as your scalp is cleansed during the treatment.
Do think about whether there's anything specific you'd like help with: a dry or sensitive scalp, hair that has lost its shine, ends that break. Then I can choose the treatment accordingly.
After your visit
Your hair usually feels lighter and softer. To keep that feeling, small changes at home are often enough: the right shampoo for your scalp, conditioner on the lengths and a treatment now and then.
If you'd like a routine to follow, we put it together before you leave. It rarely has more than three or four products – better a few used properly than lots left sitting on the shelf.
And do book your next cut before you leave. That way you get the time that suits you.

The ritual suits you if your hair or scalp needs something more than a cut – after the summer, after a period of lots of colour or heat, or when you want to give yourself some time out.
