The salon

Hairdresser in central Lund – one client at a time at Klostergatan 1

Stil i Lund is a hair salon at Klostergatan 1, right in the centre of Lund and a short walk from Lund C. Here I, Vilija, see one client at a time for cuts, colour and Oribe treatments – always by appointment.

Right in the centre and easy to reach

The salon is at Klostergatan 1 in Lund's city centre. From Lund C it's just a few minutes' walk, and if you come by bike there is bicycle parking.

Coming from Malmö, the train to Lund C takes as little as 12 minutes and runs several times an hour.

One client at a time

With me, you never sit waiting while someone else is being finished. I see one client at a time, and the time you have booked is yours.

Every visit starts with a conversation. I want to know how you wear your hair day to day, how much time you spend on it in the morning, and what you like and don't like about it today. Only then do I pick up the scissors.

I cut with scissors and shape the cut to your hair and your face shape. Shampoo, consultation and styling are always included.

What you can book

I do cuts for short, medium and long hair, colour, highlights and balayage, children's haircuts and Oribe treatments. The most comprehensive is the STIL Signature Ritual, which combines a scalp scrub, an Oribe treatment and a cut in one visit.

You can read more about the services on the page The salon. Available times and the full menu are in the booking system.

The craft behind it

I have run the salon on Klostergatan since 2001. I hold a Swedish journeyman's certificate in hairdressing and have trained twice at Sassoon Academy in London, where precision cutting is the foundation of everything.

Since August 2026, Stil i Lund has also been Lund's Oribe salon. That means I work with Oribe products in the salon and help you choose the right ones for your routine at home. There's more about that on the page Oribe.

What clients say

The salon is rated 4.9 out of 5 on Google (October 2026). Several of the reviewers have been clients for 16, 20 and 25 years, and that is the rating I am proudest of.

How a first visit works

If you're new to me, we always start with a consultation. You tell me what you'd like, and I tell you what I see: how your hair falls, where the cowlicks are, how thick it is and what is possible with your particular hair.

Feel free to bring a picture of a style you like. Even better is two pictures – one of what you want and one of what you definitely don't want. It says more than a lot of words.

Then I wash your hair, cut it and finish with styling. Before you leave, I show you how to get the style yourself, with as few steps as possible.

Why a small salon

I have chosen to keep the salon small. It lets me give every client the time their cut or colour actually needs, without rushing on to the next chair.

It also means you see the same person every time. I know how your hair behaved last time, which colour we mixed and what you thought afterwards. Over the years, that becomes reassuring for both of us.

From Malmö and the rest of Skåne

Since the salon became an Oribe salon, more clients have been coming from further afield. If you come by train from Malmö, Helsingborg or Eslöv, get off at Lund C and walk here. I've gathered what's useful to know on the page Oribe in Skåne.

Practical information before your visit

Opening hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 11:00–18:00. The salon is closed on Wednesdays, and on Saturdays I see clients by appointment.

Payment is by Swish. There is free wifi in the salon.
